Synopsis
The movie begins with Veer Singh (Muntazir Ahmad), a notorious gangster, being arrested by the police for his involvement in several crimes. He is taken to court, where he narrates his life story to his lawyer. He reveals that he was born in a poor family in Rajasthan, where his father was a farmer and his mother was a housewife. He had a happy childhood until his father died due to drought when he was 12 years old. His mother remarried a cruel man who abused him and his sister. Veer ran away from home and joined a gang of street children led by Karim (Pradeep Kabra), who taught him how to steal and survive on the streets.
Veer grew up to become a skilled thief and robber, who earned the respect of Karim and his gang members. He also fell in love with Kalpana (Dipti Dhotre), a sweet and innocent girl who worked as a waitress in a restaurant. Kalpana was unaware of Veer's criminal activities and believed that he was a good person. Veer wanted to marry her and start a new life with her, but fate had other plans for him.
One day, Veer was assigned by Karim to rob a jewellery store with his accomplices. However, the robbery went wrong and Veer ended up killing a security guard in self-defense. He was chased by the police and got shot in the leg. He managed to escape and reached Kalpana's house, where he confessed his crimes to her and asked her to elope with him. Kalpana was shocked and heartbroken, but she agreed to go with him out of love.
Veer and Kalpana boarded a train to Mumbai, where they hoped to start a new life. However, they were unaware that Karim had betrayed them and informed the police about their whereabouts. The police tracked them down and surrounded them in the train. Veer decided to surrender and asked Kalpana to run away. He told her that he loved her and that he was sorry for everything. He then got out of the train and faced the police, who shot him dead. Kalpana witnessed his death and screamed in agony.
The movie ends with Veer's lawyer telling the judge that Veer was a victim of circumstances and that he deserved a fair trial. He also said that Veer had a change of heart and wanted to reform himself, but he was killed before he could do so. He appealed to the judge to consider Veer's case with compassion and justice. The judge said that he would give his verdict after hearing the prosecution's arguments.
